Why am I a professional pet-sitter?

My LOVE of animals! After many years of working for others, I thought it was time to do something I actually enjoyed, AND work for MYSELF. Our family consists of many four-legged, furry critters...we affectionately call "the kids." They all make our house a HOME. Then there's also the outside "stray" kitties, (who by the way, all have names) that my wonderful neighbor and I have gotten spayed or neutered and are loved as well.

Just so you know a little about me...

I'm originally from New York, lived there approximately 22 years before moving to Seffner. Except for about a year and a half; at which time I tried living in the beautiful (but oh so dry) City of Tucson, Arizona, I've lived in the Tampa Bay/Seffner area for approximately 20 years. While in Tucson, Mom and I started a professional pet sitting business, where I finally found my niche! We ran the business for about 10 months, when I realized I had to come "home." Although it was bittersweet...I knew I missed Florida; but I also knew it was going to be tough leaving family and my many wonderful clients.

In 2003, I began Pet-Ticularly for Pets back here in Seffner; (yep the name Mom and I had in Tucson). I started on a part-time basis and have devoted myself full-time since March 2005. I love this area, (even though hurricane season leaves a bit to be desired!) and plan on doing what I love for many years to come. I bring not only my experience but also my love of animals to all of my clients and their owners!
